where animal adventures and yoga meet
The Ajna chakra is the sixth chakra and is associated with the colour indigo. Here we obtain our personal dreams and connect to our spiritual self.
Smells, sounds, nature and wildlife, foods and the elements all connect to each chakra. Fasting benefits the ajna chakra.
Some areas of the body associated with the ajna chakra are: eyes, ears, brain and nervous system.
When the ajna chakra is balanced we have clear perception. We are able to see beyond what our eyes see, having insight and clarity. Clairvoyance and seeing energy are some abilities connected to this chakra.
When the ajna chakra is unbalanced we have difficulty focusing on one thing, feel “out of it” and are unaware of our impact on others.
I like doing the yoga classes because it gives me time to myself. I’m not overly social so the option to practice through Michelle’s zoom classes and feel like I belong is just what I’ve been looking for.
I like how poses can be modified to suit how I feel each day. And I love the connection she makes with nature! The calming nature sounds, the messages from her cards, lovely!
