Michelle Boomer

Michelle brings her love of nature and wildlife to every aspect of teaching. Walking in nature, breathing in the smells, hearing the sounds, brings peace and calm. It is during these hikes one can hear their heart and begin to listen to their higher self. This is a gift Michelle aims to give young people.

Writing and Wildlife have always been Michelle’s first passions, and writing about animals started at a very young age. Michelle wrote her first animal adventure when she was 7, not realizing this would lead to writing and illustrating her first middle grade novel as an adult. She honed her writing skills through Brian Henry’s creative writing course and fiction writing courses over the years.

Sally the Snake -The Quest to the Beginning was released in 2016 and is the first in a series of animal adventures. She now has a collection of preschool books, released in 2017. Mr. Toad and the Volcano, Bunny and the Rocket ship, The Chocolate Monster and the Curse, The Chocolate Monster and the Witch. These 4 preschool books were originally stories told to her preschool class many years ago. They became so popular with each class, she decided to put them in book form! Michelle volunteered at Mountsberg Conservation in 2008-2009, working with birds of prey, and learned first hand their importance to humans and Mother Nature. She educated her preschool classes about these raptors, passing on her passion and teaching about other endangered species. Since then she has taught hundreds of children the importance of wildlife and what can be done to help save our species and our planet.

Michelle has been educating children for over a decade. She taught meditation and yoga after completing an introductory yoga course in 2013. This led to her becoming a RCYT through the Young Yoga Masters 95 hour program. Most recently she graduated from Ambassador yoga’s 200 hr. Yoga Alliance certified teacher training course to obtain her RYT. Now implementing adult yoga programs into her services has inspired several nature themed programs categorized into yoga bundles.

Michelle became a Reiki practitioner and Crystal worker in 2009-2010, and this led to her researching the teachings of Jerry and Esther Hicks, Deepak Chopra, Louise Hay, Carolyn Myss and more. Knowing we are all connected, we are all energy, we are all love is fundamental in sharing with others.
